Aurai DFS GTX is a technical shoe for high-altitude mountaineering and ice climbing. A synthesis of lightness, precision and comfort, it allows you to tackle the most demanding climbs even with a fully loaded backpack. Maximum protection from atmospheric agents and high thermal performance even during prolonged use in cold environments. Thermal insulation is guaranteed by a Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort lining with 350 g of padding, Primaloft inserts on the tongue and toe of the shell and by the anatomical felt footbed with an aluminium foil. The gaiter in elastic fabric covers the entire shoe and rises above the cuff for maximum thermal performance and protection from snow and ice. Walking is extremely easy, thanks also to the AKU Elica Natural Stride System which promotes biodynamic efficiency. The Kevlar upper, combined with the Spider Frame over-injection, guarantees resistance to impacts and abrasions and excellent freedom of movement. Aurai DFS GTX adopts the Dual Fit System, an exclusive AKU technology, which allows you to vary the fit by simply acting on the two different lacing systems. The Vibram Croda Litebase sole, compatible with automatic crampons, is able to ensure stability, grip and precision, even in the most technical passages.
